.No driver, longer life
For Green Energy, Energy Efficiency, Electricity Saving, Long Life, LEDs can be said the 4rd generation light. Compare to Incandescent, Halogen lamp, Fluorescence daylight lamp, Fluorescence energy conservation lamp and DC LED light, AC LED light has more higher evaluation at energy efficiency, long life and high efficient because of without converter or driver.
Nowadays LEDs are low voltage (VF=2 3.6V) and high power (IF=200 1500mA) semiconductor device, and lightening via appropriated DC (Direct Current). Normally we used high-pressured exchange (AC 110~220V), step-down by driver or converter to get lower voltage and switches from AC to DC to lighten LEDs. The application of DC LED light = Driver + Converter + Constant current Interior space of LED light has to be placed a module, but the space usually hard to be spared for E27.
There is ration wastage to device, even step-down by driver with converter or switch. There are 15%~30% wastage of electric power while AC switches to DC, and the device efficient would not be approached to 90% above, oppositely the device efficient can be approached to 90% above while lighten LEDs via AC directly.
.Easy to make replace (DIY)
Compare to traditional light, AC LED light has more efficiency because of design and measure of area on heat conduction, and to approach the intention of Energy Efficiency and Carbon Reduction. AC LEDs will become the master stream inevitably in the illumination industry, because of dimension of PLCC (Plastic Leaded Chip Carrier) reduction, easy to make replace for the end users and the potential of exterior lightings and monitors.
Compare to DC LEDs and traditional, the another advantage of AC LEDs are the voltage can be allotted to the normal capability chips to brighten continually and there is no serious distinction of illumination even if some chips are damaged.
